Recently Dell released its Windows Phone 7 powered cellphone the Venue Pro which is indeed very stylish but also troubled as well. Few days back we reported regarding the Protected WiFi Bug in Dell Venue Pro and now this device showing signs of yet another flaw/defect.
Many of the Dell Venue Pro users are seen reporting on XDA that the handsets in the latest batch of Venue Pro available at Microsoft stores are having issues in reading a normal SIM cards, Apart from this there are customers which are claiming that their Venue Pro recognized their SIM cards in the beginning but just after a soft reset their cards became defective!
Another thing to be noticed was that many of the users having this issue had already swapped their Venue Pros recently for handsets which were defective from the batch came out in first week of November. As those handset were unable to connect to password enabled WiFi networks and some of them had batteries which were mislabeled as engineering samples.
As Microsoft is giving away free Zune passes for an year for everyone who want his Venue Pro exchanged, seems the only upside.lol
