At WorstTech we are trying to report bugs found in different softwares, operating systems, firmwares or mobile phones.
Today, I am going to address these annoying bugs in Windows 7. Windows 7 is believed to be the best operating system ever released by Microsoft. You people might have noticed these bugs.
First of the bugs is the saving file bug in Windows 7: this issue is very strange and it is being discussed in many forums, but surprisingly no official solution yet. When ever you try to save a file from an application by pressing Ctrl+S. The standard Windows dialog box pops up, name the file you wish to save. When you click another file in the folder (for instance “MyFile7January1″). The name of this document then appears in the file name field. Now change one character in the file name (for instance “MyFile8January1″). Click ‘ok’ to save the new document with the new name. Windows will ask you if you want to overwrite the previous file. Although the save field clearly shows “MyFile8January1″, Windows still asks you if you want to overwrite “MyFile7January1″. Why is this so? No answer yet.
Second annoying bug is related to the refresh rate for your monitor. Windows 7 allows you to set the refresh rate for your monitor to 59Hz or 60Hz (among other options), but for example when you set refresh rate to 60Hz, the setting resets itself back to 59Hz no matter what. This isn’t a big problem, but while playing games it won’t allow you to access certain options like vsync.

There is no official fix for the problems discussed above, although there are some unofficial fixes that may or may not work (on your own risk), no official fix is given by Microsoft. What to do? Let’s wait and watch, or hope for the patch or fix.
