Although Google Android is an exceptional operating system and also the biggest competitor for Apple iOS both have their pros and cons, In this post I will highlight Google disrespect for consistency in the Android based handsets.

Since Google has not defined any rules for the sequence in which hardware buttons should be placed due to which each android based handset vendor uses random combination of these hardware buttons. To be more clear look at the four hardware buttons (i.e. home, search, menu, back) in the image below,

The image above is of Google’s Nexus S and Samsung’s Galaxy, You can notice the hardware inconsistency every hardware button in both these handsets is at different place. Although this not a big deal for those who prefer Android OS but those who prefer iOS it can be appalling. Google should also have defined some rules regarding the order of the buttons to make Android more user friendly!
