We just posted an article regarding the virus attack on Facebook’s well known game Farm Town. Now here in this post we will unveil the details regarding what the Koobface can do with your PC. This is the same virus that hit Facebook last December and it returned again.
Koobface is a malware / worm that is been ranked as fourth in the rouge app. Sources stated that it can install a bot-like component that may install other malicious apps automatically into the system.
Craig Schmugar, threat researcher for McAfee Avert Labs has confirmed its propagation and targets into the social networking sites only.
