Engadget has reportedly said that an enterprising Android hacker/developer by the name of Eugene has gained access to the Motorola CLIQ’s FM radio hardware, which was apparently built into the device by design and turned off in the stock firmware he figured it out and delivered it.

The hack was performed by porting an LG Android ROM to the CLIQ when a previously missing library file and bin file were discovered with references to FM Radio.
He discovered that FMRadio was present in the bin file. Eugene just loaded the bin and lib FMRadio files, and FM Radio started working. By bringing in the files from the LG ROM that the CLIQ hardware needed, he was able to give life to a FMRadio.
Eugene has not released a working version of his hack yet, but we have to assume that it will be coming soon.
