Here it is, yet another Worst Tech news, and this time it is about twitter Phishing Attacks. Yesterday some Twitter users logged in and they were told that they needed a password reset due to a Phishing scam. The Phishing attack was not aimed at Twitter, but at another service, a Twitter email explained.

The message from Twitter said that the user’s account
may have been compromised in a Phishing attack that took place off-Twitter.As a result, your password was reset.
Some of the Twitter users thought that the email was a Phishing scam. No information is available that who was responsible for Twitter Phishing attack.
Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos said:
Computer users are spending more time on social networks, sharing sensitive and valuable personal information, and hackers have sniffed out where the money is to be made
One can just imagine that there was no Phishing Attack, but Twitter just want to let the users be more safe and sound.
