I will not go into the details of the hack but this is definitely a great achievement. XDA developers used the Android ROMs in the dashing HTC HD2. One of the developers whose name is DarkStone1337 did it for all the hackers.
DarkStone1337 is famous for his achievements of porting ROMs in the HD2, he has did it again and this definitely is the great contribution for the HD2 community. He mounted the Android Froyo 2.2 OS on HD2 and managed to run RAM instead of NAND. According to him, if you run anything from memory it has a great effect on performance and stability. And he just did the same.
DarkStone1337 thinks that if the ROM runs from RAM it will still have an enough memory to do anything.
