Yesterday, I told you guys that iPod Nano is hacked by a hacker James Whelton and I promised that I will come up with more hacks of iPod Nano. So here it is, yet another hack of 6th Generation’s iPod Nano. In this hack I will show you how to remove apps from the device and add spaces instead.

Just a note that this hack is tested on Windows formatted but not with the Mac one. It is relatively easy if we consider it to other difficult hacks. So are you guys ready to perform this hack? Before that read all the instructions to hack iPod Nano.
Below are the steps for the hack, screenshot is provided with each step.
1. First thing you have to note is that in the iTunes, “Enable disk use” is checked or not? If “Enable disk use” is unchecked then check (tick mark) it after connecting your iPod Nano to your machine.

2. Go to My Computer and double click the Nano.exe. Now enable hidden folders then go into the iPod_Control.

3. Now create a backup for IconState.plist (save it anywhere in your PC), now open the IconState.plist with notepad. See the following screenshot for reference.

4. Remove the SBPhotos which is a part of the corresponding string and delete the SBAlbums and SBGenres.

5. Now save your modified file.
6. Press the the minus volume button and lock button simultaneously, your device will reboot. Now, unplug the iPod cable from it.
7. Done! Now you will see that the apps are removed from your iPod Nano.
Enjoying hacking your iPod Nano! You can also watch this video to get overview of the above steps.
