After wowing the audience at WWDC, iOS 4 is ready to be jailbroken. I am not going to discuss whether new OS is good is or not, but yes I can guarantee you guys that this new OS is jailbreakable, thanks to Redsn0w. iPhone Dev team has updated Redsn0w to 0.9.5, this version is now able to jailbreak all the iDevices with iPhone OS 4.0.

In this post I will guide you guys to jailbreak iOS 4, so keep reading! There are some pre reqs though that you need to update your device to iOS 4. Just a note! If you have already unlocked or jailbreakon your iDevice then please don’t even think to upgrade, because it will update your baseband and of thus will remove the unlock.
Anyways here we go with the steps to Jailbreak iOS 4 Using Redsn0w 0.9.5.
1. First of all save iOS 4.0 ipsw file on your hard disk location doesn’t matters.
2. Now, download Redsn0w 0.9.5 for Mac from the source given at the end of this post.
3. Then, double click the installer to run it, provide the link to the .ipsw update file (one that you have saved to you hard drive).
4. Now, just switch off the iDevice.
5. Connect it to your machine.
6. On your iDevice you need to press the POWER and HOME button at the same time, to start it in recovery mode.
7. Press ‘NEXT’ button, then wait for device to be jailbreakon.
