Yesterday we reported about the latest version of Sn0wbreeze 1.6, which is now able to jailbreak iOS 4.0, for time being it is released for Windows users. Today I am here to tell you that there is an upgrade in latest version of Sn0wbreeze 1.6.1, now released by iH8Sn0w team.
Sn0wbreeze 1.6.1 is now able to jailbreak iOS 4.0 firmware on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. If I am not wrong then let me say that Sn0wBreeze is almost almost equivalent to PwnageTool but not like PwnageTool.
For time being Sn0wbreeze is released for Windows OS. At the end of this post I have posted a link that will guide you through through to create a custom firmware with Sn0wBreeze v1.6.1 to jailbreak iOS 4.0.
Sn0wbreeze 1.6.1 can jailbreak:
- iPhone 3GS (Old BootRom + Jailbroken not using Spirit)
- iPhone 3G
- iPod Touch 2G ( not MC Models)
