redsn0w-0.9.6-b1

This version is only for he Mac OS X users, Windows user have to wait for the Windos version of redsn0w 0.9.6b1. This is a beta version of redsn0w which support only two devices, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. This version of redsn0w uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode to exploit the discussed devices. This exploit doesn’t include SHAtter exploit. Apple still don’t know anything about the exploit.

There are some words of advice, if you are about to use redsn0w at 4.1, then you need to update your iDevice to official iOS 4.1. iPod Touch owners with MC model will have to to perform a tethered jailbreak to their device. You can also roll back to a firmware supported by jailbreakme.com or spiritjb.com.
