Well, we all know that Google announced Honeycomb at the CES 2011. This OS is more known as Google Android 3.0. Google will never launch the OS for mobile phones. The only reason for saying this is that the new OS is just announced for the tablets.

Honeycomb is not coming to smartphones, this was confirmed by Dave Burke, he is the Director of Engineering of Android at Google. He said that Honeycomb is currently for the tablets. I means that Android 3.0 will not be there for smartphones. While discussing about the new OS, spokesman said that the fused (mixture of Android 2.x and Android 3.x) OS might come to smartphones. The idea of fusing two different operating systems seems more sensible.

Spokesman further said that in Android 3.0 the whole UI is made better than before, he further said that you won’t be allowed to customize the text widget while using the Honeycomb. I think Honeycomb should be there for the smartphones, we would have a great experience if Google makes it to the phones. The worst part of Honeycomb would be that it won’t be there for the smartphones.
