Most of the folks out there think that Android is more secure and powerful than Windows Mobile. My opinion is a bit different, I am great fan of Windows Mobile (not Microsoft). There are many reasons for saying so. Today I am going to tell you guys why there is no license protection for Android apps. Piracy is almost at its max in these apps, definitely a question mark for Google, Android fans and Android developers.

Sources have reportedly said that if you do some change in any Android app’s code it may lead piracy of the app. Let me explain it in a simple manner. Like if you made a minor change in any of the Android apps then this app is copied and reconfigured. Pirates easily use a Google’s License Verification Library (LVL) to approve the copied app. This app will no more be an official app but a pirated one.
Source further told that almost all of the Android apps are coded in Java. We all know that fact that Java code is compiled in byte-code, this byte-code can then be de-assembled and easily changed, allowing pirates to sneak into the app. This hacked Android app can easily bypass Google’s LVL verification process and lands in Android market.
There are many solutions to this issue, first of them is restrict the users not to reuse the code anymore, put some checks in order to prevent apps from being hacked. Google is aware of this issue and Google will try to dig out some solution.
