The year 2010 is the year of introduction of iPad to the world! Number of people were waiting impatiently for this product to be released by Apple. After looking at the popularity and fame that iPhone has achieved in the past couple of years many apple fans and critics review iPad as they were surely expecting it to be the next miracle, that will going to fulfills their dreams and start a new era for the mobile computing. It has also been said in different ipad reviews that this product will turn out to be a laptop killer!
But after the launch, did this product from apple really turned right up to the expectations? If we search for reviews about apple’s ipad we will find a mixture of opinions all over the internet! Many ipad review says iPad seems like a disappointment for Apple fans who were expecting to see an exceptional product. On the other hand, there are also some ipad review that claims iPad as the best product!
In this review I will discuss few point from both types of ipad review (the good iPad and the bad iPad) and let you decide whether the current version of iPad is a failed product or iPad is Not a failed product!
No doubt Apple iPad is a wonderful device for mobile Internet even many critics have the same point of view which clearly reflects from their Ipad review that the future of iPad is quite bright and it will surely going to be a great mobile Internet device in the coming future.
Apple has given iPad its “SAFARI” browser for faster and better Internet experience, and the device is also optimized for a great number of online services for the Internet users which makes it a wonderful hand-held device for average users looking maps from Google Maps and watching tons of videos through youtube and other media sharing sites.
But within the first week of its launch, many of the customers were seen complaining about a problem that WiFi is not connecting in iPad which was reported and reviewed by many bloggers all over the world this WiFi problem leads to a question that what will be the use of such wonderful internet applications when the users are facing so much trouble even connecting to the internet! :p
Other applications, like chatting, online gaming, blogging and emailing are also available on the Apple Ipad and for all those users, who need use Internet and other computer based applications while traveling, Ipad can be the best choice as it is much easier to handle and carry as compared to laptops! But in many iPad reviews, people have compared its weight with Amazon’s Kindle which is much lighter in weight as compared to iPad!
In almost all iPad reviews, Another disappointment that usually discussed is the absence of the camera! Many iPad fans were disappointed by seeing that the in the current release Apple has not included any camera in the iPad! Beside all these flaws in iPad, there are still many ipad reviews in which people have praised iPad and claiming it as a great device to store a huge number of music, pictures, videos and documents. For storing and managing all the data, iPad’s also has a decent File manager that organize all your media in the library.
As with other Apple products, iTunes is also another feature in ipad, which helps users to create playlists, play music, rate music, auto generate playlist and also having a connection with Apple stores for getting access to more options, media and applications on iPad.
Apart from personal use, Apple iPad has all qualities of a perfect device for business use as well. It proves to be equally useful device for business personnel. According to some iPad reviews, iPad can do almost everything a laptop can!
For all these pros and cons of iPad, one that is the biggest concern to Apple is the Jailbreaks! These jailbreaks are now becoming one of the major concern for Apple, with jailbreaks people are getting all sort of un-restricted access to all the features of iphones and ipads. Just within one week of release there was a jailbreak available for iPad, which clearly reflects that apple has failed to overcome these jalbreaking codes and there are still vulnerabilities which can be exploited to un-lock iPad!
Now its up to you to decide whether iPad is not a failed product or it is.. or Apple just need some more time to fix these flaws and hopefully on the next version of iPad we will see some decent improvements!
