Previously there was a speculation that the new “Chinese” version of Samsung Galaxy S has arrived that can easily run Apple’s iOS4. I have posted the video below in which demonstrate that this handset runs on iOS4 and it can smoothly run apps as well.

Looking at the video it seems to me that this Chinese Samsung Galaxy S is running an operating system that is just pretending to be iOS 4 (crappy OS with iOS4 skin).
In my opinion, the only reason that in the video below the phone is running iOS4 flawlessly and with super fast speed is because the video seems to be on fast forward. But being the first Chinese copy of Samsung Galaxy S this handset is quite cool! (Even though all they have done is stripped the Chinese copy of iPhone 4 and added the Samsung’s Galaxy S skin and two dummy touch sensitive buttons). The video below shows that this handset has multi-touch support and can run games like the Plants vs. Zombies and Angry Birds.
But this time I have spotted another Chinese Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), which is not using iOS4 but with Android v2.1 operating system and a decent 5.0 megapixel camera.
China Clone: Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), has Android 2.1 OS along with 5 MegaPixel Camera and Multi-touch Screen

Obviously it is not as good as the original one, so one shouldn’t expect it to have similar AMOLED capacitive touch screen as in the original Galaxy S. This handset has 3.5 inch capacitive 320×480 HVGA touch screen which supports multi-touch, the device uses MTK6516 platform and has 512 MB of RAM and uses the same Android OS as in the original Samsung Galaxy S.

Furthermore, the front camera of this Chinese Galaxy S has only got 0.3 MP resolution which indeed doesn’t sound good but having a rear camera of 5 Megapixel resolution with LED flash and auto-focus is a plus point.

This Chinese GalaxyS does have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but at the moment I can’t say for sure that whether this Chinese version of Galaxy S has accelerometer sensor or proximity sensor but it is claimed that it will have light sensor, gravity sensor and distance sensor.
