Last month we told you about the market share of different browsers. In September 2010 IE was on top but its share was 49.87% which dropped quite a bit in a span of one year. Mozilla Firefox was second with 31.5% and Google Chrome stood third with 11.54%.

That were the statistics of last month. In October 2010; according to Global StatCounter; IE’s market share is dropping more and more, this month its share came down 49.37%. Firefox’s market share also dropped but it is still steady with 31.3%. Google Chrome is at number three and its market share is now more than 12% which is definitely a great sign for Google and the users of Chrome. Apple’s Safari is at number four with 4.55% and at the last number we have Opera with only 1.99%.
Personally speaking, I am not impressed with IE. It’s slow, buggy and IE is more than a death. More often I use Firefox and sometimes I give a touch to Chrome. I found out that Chrome is much much stable than IE and Firefox, though it crashes many times but new release is very stable.
To me Firefox should be at number one then Chrome and IE should be at the last. What do you think? Let me know with your worthy comments and arguments. Do follow us on Twitter @worsttech and on Facebook as well and get the latest updates on worst aspects of technology news.
