Lots of buzz is going around the web that Microsoft has finally acquired one of the greatest communication software around the globe. Yes, Skype is now the property of well known company from Redmond, Microsoft.

I was wondering why people and the analysts are so concerned about this deal? Business Insider and Peter Sunde came up with the answer. First of all I would like to thank an active Twitter member Peter Sunde who tweeted the following tweet. Well, he is right that Skype would be dead after Microsoft’s acquisition. If that happened then we will miss you Skype! Which definitely would be worst for Skype fans and users.

On the other hand Microsoft is very much concerned about this deal and they have paid more than 8 billion dollars of cash. But, Business Insider has some other views! Some of the technology personals are just not happy about the deal as Microsoft wins the contest to buy Skype.

Microsoft will definitely challenge Cisco after acquiring Skype. Now Skype with Microsoft is a biggest concern for Cisco, as their video conferencing tool WebEx is on a major risk. Indeed it is a major shock to Cisco.

Second in the loser list is the search engine giant, Google. Google, never wanted to buy Skype but? Will Microsoft hit Google Voice with this deal? My opinion is yes! From now on wards Google would think about this miss! Microsoft can trouble Google in many areas like: software, mobile and social networks.

Another loser in the list is one of the founders on Skype! Index Ventures who was the original investor of Skype was kicked out of this deal after a lawsuit. Another guy Mike Volpi, who was pushed out of the deal after a lawsuit.

Now what is your opinion about this deal? Will it fail? What do you think, will Microsoft give tough time to most of its rivals or Microsoft will dump Skype as always?
