So much has already been said everywhere on the internet about the drawbacks of using Internet Explorer and about its lacking, but to be honest, the shortest description you can get is that the browser simply sucks. You might ask for the reasons, well, there are far too many reasons that gives answer to “why internet explorer sucks?” In the following i will discuss some of the most prominent reasons which in my opinion are the key factors making internet explorer sucks big time.
One of the biggest reasons which make Internet Explorer suck is that IE Ignores All Common Internet Standards! Every maker of websites and browsers has to comply with particular design and usage standards, which makes the Internet function as a consistent unit. These standards are constantly ignored by Microsoft for the sake of proprietary. This obviously means that Microsoft wishes to force people into using their software instead of complying with set standards. For this reason, For many web-designers Internet Explorer is perhaps the hardest browser when is comes to making a website compatible with IE, Compatibility issue with internet explorer can sometime becomes so irritating that the only thing comes in the mind is that the Internet Explorer does sucks. 
One one hand there are compatibility issues in the internet explorer which are pain in the ass and on the other hand there is another potential concern about the Security Issues. Security has always been another major issue with Internet Explorer since the beginning. All other browsers simply refuse to use or accept Active Scripting and ActiveX, which are Microsoft application that grant others applications complete access to your browser. As obvious, by means of these two programs, your computer can easily be controlled by others, thereby making internet explorer home for adware, viruses, malware and spy-wares! Even if you use firewall along with an anti-virus, it’s just no good. You will constantly get Malwares on your computer if you are using Internet Explorer. IE will just keep inviting all sort of malwares to attack your computer!
After discussing the compatibility and security issues with internet explorer, Now I will focus on another is issue that adds another reasonable anser to the question why internet explorer sucks?
Internet Explorer also has a fatal flaw regarding Overwriting of System DLL files, Whenever IE is installed, it overwrites all of your system DLL files. In most of the cases, the installed files are not compatible, probably because of the fact that IE itself is not compatible with most of the web, hence in result it sometimes also clashes with its own operating system too. Obviously, this makes your system slow down and crash eventually.
Because of these reasons, as well as numerous other reasons, we can easily deduce that why internet explorer sucks!
