While using our phones, many of us usually believe that our conversations are private and no one can interrupt our conversations and/or listen to what we are talking about. But, the bad news is that the phone conversations are not private anymore; as now virtually anyone can eavesdrop on victim’s cellphone by interrupting their calls thus listening to anyone’s conversations is not more a harder task for criminals.

Cellphone conversations once considered as one of the safest ways to talk privately are now no longer secure, criminals listen to anyone’s conversations by exploiting the newly recovered vulnerabilities. A malware/bot known as the “bugbot” can be used in order to listen anyone’s conversation.
Researchers had announced that they had revealed some attack methods, which can be used in order to create fake mobile phone rootkits. These rootkits acts as malware, which when enters in the mobile phone’s operating system can be used to steal the conversations. Rootkit is easily drained in mobile phones with the help of Bluetooth and Multimedia Messaging and the target would never even know that his conversations are being listened to. Even if the infected mobile phone is not being used, the malware is advance enough to access the built-in GPS system of the cell-phones (if cellphone have GPS) and can tell the attacker about your mobile phone location.
In order to protect your cellphone from getting infected it is necessary to restrict yourself from downloading ring-tones, screen-savers, wallpapers or any other apps from un-trusted sources.
So beware and protect yourself by taking possible measures. According to latest research, this little evil malware when get access to cellphone system then apart from invading your privacy in conversation and your location, it can even invade privacy of your text messages by sending copy of your message to its master. This could be very dangerous so it is necessary to keep Bluetooth disabled when not is use and also take preventive measures while using the internet; avoid stuff unless you know what you are downloading.
