Mother’s Day Malware Threat

Mother’s day is just few hours away, we have got an exclusive news that there is a malware threat on this day. This was said by the makers of greatest antivirus software, BitDefender. After the Osama Bin Laden malware now comes the turn Mother’s Day malware. This malware can easily infect computers. This was exclusively reported by some other reputable sources.

Cybercriminals are just up to the task, Mother’s Day is near so there would be an ongoing activity of the malware dispersion. Named Storm Worms, these are the rogue-ware that can harm and open backdoor for the PCs running Windows OS.

According to the BitDefender Online Threats Lab, this malware is online and for the Mother’s Day people will shop there, cyber crooks are well aware of this fact and they are hindering people’s online activities by spreading the malware over the internet.

Mother’s Day is a biggest occasion for most of us so hackers are also spreading some hoax, scams and spam email on the web just to get your money. Hackers are trapping us through some valid looking tricks in the form of scams.

While shopping an e-card for your mother, you will definitely go to some website and then you will shop some. You first priority is to get an e-card then some other gift for your one who gave you birth. Now tell me one thing, why would you shop if an email comes to your inbox offering you to get loads of free e-cards and gifts for your mother? Well, these are spamming activities never ever fall for them. In fact all of the malwares will on the move, from Spyeye (Zbot) to Koobface.

It’s not over yet, spammers can easily trap to show some fake advertisements of jewelry, accessories, and gifts. The moment you click the advert you are redirected to some fake website where hackers are waiting to get hold of you money. Let me clarify one more thing that these threats includes the key-logger attacks, backdoor Trojans and other malicious malware which are able to steal your credentials.

For the time being, as Mother’s Day is near and I can bet you would have shop a lot for your mother but I you haven’t then please read above instruction very carefully and don’t be fool enough to through away your precious bucks in the hands of hackers!
