Recently, researchers disclosed a new fake and rogue software which is spreading all of its new and different activities. Named as AV Protection Online; it is targeting and threatening computers with its fake activities.
This was detected some time ago when some of the machines were infected by this fake antivirus program. But now we came to know about some of the hidden dangers of this rogue-ware. AV Protection Online has been detected as an intruder by some of the famous legal antivirus programs.
AV Protection Online comes up with an installation file size: 1687040 bytes and it uses MD5 signature as: b3ed62012255aed5b965449e921ab4df. This makes it easier to identify that this is a fake and malware oriented software. This is just another way to know about many of the Trojan based software.
More than 65% of the top antivirus marked AV Protection Online as a rogue-ware. According to the VirusTotal; 28 out of 43 legit antivirus programs showed that this rogue tool is a major threat to your machine where ever you are in the world.
To put it short AV Protection Online is fake and you should avoid and remove it as soon as possible.
