New Malware Spreads via USB Drives

The term “malware” is becoming common day by day. After every week or so, we come to know about the new malware, online attack and hacker attack targeting individual users, social networks, smartphones and multi-national firms. Recently, security experts warned about the newly spreading malware. This malware is spreading via USB drives.

Let me tell you about the details of this malware, the main and the only reason why this malware spreads is the low security of Windows software, nothing else. This malware is reported by VirusBlokAda he is an antivirus software developer. The good thing about this malware is that it can automatically spreads through USB.

What this malware does is, you just need to open infected USB using Windows Explorer and this malware starts its working. Security experts further said that you have to scan the USB stick before using it.

Normal user can’t catch this malware as it is hidden in an executable of device driver. So by accessing the USB drive the malware loads itself. The amazing thing about this malware is that has a legal device driver signature. How? I don’t know but it has.

You guys are advised to stay safe, do not open any USB drive (especially the affected ones) without scanning it, use a good antivirus software and try to update it as much as you can. If you find anything like device driver or autorun in the content of the USB please do not open those folders, as they can hard your PC.
